    This job requires a student within their junior year of a Bachelor program or higher with a concentration in Public Relations, Journalism or Communications. The Communications Intern will assist the Communications team with, including but not limited to, editorial planning, content development (articles, FAQs, announcements, video scripts); supporting social media goals, intranet redesign and other projects as assigned.


    • Assist in editorial planning; content development, including: writing articles and announcements, FAQs and/or other internal and external communications.
    • Draft video scripts; participate in editing and other production activities.
    • Support delivery of social media goals, including expanding/enhancing our LinkedIn presence.
    • Research and document best practices for corporate centennial celebrations; compile list of tactics and key points of GMAC/GMF IO history.
    • Assist with other Communications deliverables as assigned.



    • Working toward obtaining degree in Public Relations, Journalism or Communications.
    • Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
    • Video production or graphics capabilities a plus.
    • SharePoint experience a plus.
