    The Oracle Application Developer II is a technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of Oracle applications systems analysis and programming. The Oracle Application Developer II acts under general direction of a technical lead or manager, working on complex projects. This team member formulates/defines system scope and objectives and devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Oracle Application Developer II prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written and is responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. This team member has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming and may be responsible for multiple phases of a project. Additionally, this team member may have quality assurance review responsibilities and providing work estimates.     


    • Design and Develop technical solutions that meet business requirements based on functional designs.
    • Develop technical specifications, unit test plans and installation plans for complex designs for new systems or system enhancements.
    • Perform problem analysis, debugging and coding as part of new development.
    • Coordinate with other team members to work on solutions and on design/code reviews.
    • Design forms, reports, data collection, processing and control procedures for assigned systems.
    • Develop advanced applications using Oracle Forms and Reports for assigned systems.
    • Develop advanced file and database structures, and interfaces between internal and external systems.
    • Develop criteria for testing and debugging applications, programs and reports, and evaluate results of design and testing.
    • Perform full systems testing, implementation and evaluation
    • Provide third-tier user support, to include assistance during installation, training and end user documentation.
    • Create and maintain all pertinent documentation, including program, form, report, system and job flow documentation.



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study is required.
    • 5 or more years of IT experience in design, development, and production support of Oracle e-Business applications.
    • Experience in analyzing, planning, documenting, and programming or installing complex computer systems.
    • Experience in implementing Oracle’s Integrated Receiving (RI) module in Brazil to satisfy the legal and statutory requirements.
    • Experience in implementing Oracle EBS in Latin American countries.
    • Experience working for a global company, effectively dealing with multiple countries and cultures.
    • Team player with proven abilities to work in complex cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.



    • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R11i and R12 primarily in the following Oracle Financials ( GL, iExpense, AP, FA, Cash Management, Purchasing, iProcurement, Payments, SLA, RI and TAX) and HCM modules.
    • Experience working with IDE’s like TOAD, SQL Navigator, PL-SQL Developer and JDeveloper.
    • Experience in the development of all aspects of RICE objects.
    • Experience in Design and Development of Workflows and AME.
    • Experience in design and development of Oracle Forms and Reports.
    • Strong SQL, PL/SQL, OAF skills including performance tuning.
    • Experience developing reports in BI Publisher and Discoverer.
    • Experience with Unix/Linux Shell scripts.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, software library control and editing products.
    • Ability to interpret and write technical publications/diagrams, and project specifications.
    • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Good organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to meet time sensitive deadlines.
    • Good oral and written communication skills in English and Portuguese. Spanish desired, but not required.
    • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documentation pertaining to the operations of computer and software applications and equipment.
    • Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment.
    • Promotes a cooperative and productive team environment.
    • Interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technical relationships with internal and external clients.
