The Commercial Lending Underwriter, as part of the company’s risk organization, is responsible for the credit risk analysis required for having the approval of credit lines (renewal or establishment). Underwriter will be responsible for completing the credit risk assessment on commercial accounts for dealerships and commercial risk customers.
The commercial lending risk analyst is responsible for analyzing financial statements, credit data and internal information to determine a risk rating and a recommendation to establish a new credit facility or to renew the customer’s current credit lines. Through a credit review, the analyst will document and submit their assessment for approval to Risk/Operations as required.
Underwriter must be able to work with other departments, office branches, and/or end-customer to effectively complete the assessment and obtain the approval/rejection. Must quickly understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
