  • Overview

    This position is a Configuration Specialist that will be responsible for creating, testing, implementing and monitoring the business/policy rules approved by Risk for use within the Consumer Risk Transformation (CRT) system. The CRT project will implement an underwriting system and business rules engine throughout International Operations and is expected to last 3 to 5 year project. The configuration specialist position will be ongoing after the initial implementations.


    • Create approved business/policy rules using a defined, systematic approach;
    • Develop a testing process that complies with all governance standards;
    • Implement business/policy rules into CRT;
    • Monitor business/policy rules for accuracy and expected performance;
    • Document all work for audit purposes.


    • Degree level educated in Business Administration, Economy, Engineer
    • Prior experience using R, SAS (Macro, SQL) is a differential
    • Prior experience in consumer risk is required
    • Experience with analyzing, design and development of a business rules engine (FICO Blaze Adviser or similar);
    • Fluency and proficiency in English required. Additional foreign languages would be beneficial for developing this multi country system;
    • Ability to plan and organize workload to achieve desired priorities and objectives;
    • Ability to work with an Operational team to understand rules requirements and to translate into an appropriate rules format;
    • Knowledge of or work experience with a business analytics tool such as SAS or similar for validating development work;
    • Ability to make quality decisions to develop solutions that will achieve the desired results.
    • Consumer risk across all IO markets coverage
    • Availability to travel is mandatory
