    GM Financial’s Accelerated Development Program (ADP) is a high impact rotational program that will provide a diverse group of individuals with hands on experience in the markets where our business operates.

At the end of the program, we will assess your development over the 24 month period and take into consideration your strengths and aspirations and match it with the company’s business need for your next role.


    The program start date is January 2019


    This program provides participants with:

    • Two rotations averaging twelve months in length over a course of 24 months.
      • Rotations will be in various departments across our organization in operations and global functions that can include but are not limited to: Finance, Customer Experience, Risk, Information Technology, Sales, Marketing, Collections, Customer Service, Retail and Wholesale Operations
      • Participation in developmental modules through the course of the program that focus on personal and self-development and industry and organizational knowledge
      • Challenging work assignments that support strategic priorities, operational initiatives and objectives
      • Dedicated program manager, experienced rotational managers and knowledgeable mentors


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or similar.
    • Language requirements:
      • Full fluency in English required
      • Additional fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin preferred
    • Must meet local employment eligibility requirements
    • A typical candidate for this program will have an average of 2-3 years’ work experience
    • Global experience such as a study abroad program or work experience in an international setting is preferred
    • Evidence of extra-curricular activities that demonstrate leadership, drive and excellent interpersonal skills is desired
    • Ability to travel and flexibility to move between different rotations and geographical locations
