    The Remarketing Solutions Sr. Manager is responsible for optimizing the remarketing of GM Financial vehicles.  The identification and implementation of process improvements in transportation, sale preparation, vehicle management, physical auction sales, and pursuing online opportunities will be in scope.  The position is responsible for also pursuing enterprise solutions with GM Remarketing.  The position serves as a leader and mentor across all remarketing activities.


    • Provide leadership through influence, inspiration, collaboration and teamwork on an ongoing basis in maximizing net proceeds on remarketed vehicles
    • Primary responsibilities include benchmarking current processes; investigate and recommend new sales process and techniques
    • Responsibility to monitor lease vehicle Excess Wear & Tear impacts on vehicle retention values
    • Develop, recommend and implement new strategies across remarketing channels; exchange best practices with the North American Remarketing Team
    • Perform random audits of auction expenses and inventory control measures to ensure compliance with GM Financial guidelines and policies
    • Maintain adequate process controls over the GM Financial remarketing processes, including procedural documentation and operation manuals
    • Complete auction performance assessments and analysis as required to improve the overall effectiveness of Remarketing Solutions
    • Represent GM Financial collateral at physical auctions on an as needed basis



    • Working knowledge of wholesale vehicle values, industry remarketing best practices, certification programs, online sales channels and reconditioning strategies
    • Advanced computer knowledge with the ability to utilize multiple vehicle valuations methods to establish vehicle pricing recommendations
    • Advanced knowledge of laws/guidelines, with an emphasis on laws relating to leasing, repossession and remarketing of vehicles
    • Advanced knowledge of the automotive and remarketing industries is required



    • Strong organizational, leadership and supervisory skills, with the abilities to coach and develop teams
    • Team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Ability to professionally represent GM Financial and maintain working relationships with vendors/auction personnel
    • Demonstrated history of working in an environment with a high degree of autonomy
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of team members and management
    • Ability to make independent decisions and use sound judgment in relation to the handling of accounts and management of team members
    • Ability to create an atmosphere where team members feel free to express concerns and suggestions, while identifying opportunities to improve and align strategic initiatives
    • Fluent in Spanish and English


    • 5+ years of experience in a vehicle remarketing role with responsibility for the representation of inventory and auction operations required
    • 5+ years of prior background in an Automotive Finance Environment preferred



    • Bachelor degree in administration, engineering or related.
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
