  • Overview

    The Credit Supervisor is responsible of managing the Consumer Credit Underwriting process, servicing our customer with excellence. Will lead processes optimization, system changes and innovation projects within the Consumer Credit area. Must ensure Credit Policy adherence and Quality standards.

     The supervisor must have experience managing people, project management and analytics.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for supervising and developing the underwriter, purchasing and dealer care team
    • Ensure understanding of credit policies and procedures established by GMF
    • Tracking of process flow and detection of possible process improvements
    • Ensure a strong logistic of the process, documental control, productivity and quality
    • Assure individual and team productivity
    • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining applicability of credit policy, satisfactory response time and quality of applications reviewed, providing feedback if necessary
    • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining applicability of purchasing process, ensure quality of contract purchased and satisfactory dealer attention, providing feedback if necessary
    • Responsible for maintaining SLAs and quality as well as the approval rates and exception level inside frame provided by Risk,
    • Responsible to provide support to the progress, completion and update of BPMS phases, assist in the improvement of the deployment of the methodology
    • Takes responsibility for projects to improve operative processes
    • Give support on tests and deployments for IT projects

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, Statistics or Business Administration.
    • At least +3 years of experience in credit and/or leasing processes, bank or financial services experience
    • Spanish & English Proficiency
    • High level of responsibility
    • Strong interpersonal skills required in order to effectively communicate with the team, team work and collaboration
    • Strong managerial skills
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Proactivity and initiative
    • High analytical capacity and problem solving ability
    • Ensure understanding of credit policies and procedures established
    • Ability to present technical information clearly and accurately
    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
