  • Overview

    BI Analysts provides companywide strategic, analytical and technical support for business intelligence (BI) activities.


    • Partners with stakeholders, process specialists, and users to elicit and document business requirements; translates non-technical requirements into technical business requirements 
    • Partners with business departmental teams to define and document business requirements for new metrics and reports 
    • Designs, develops and maintains reports and analytical tools 
    • Uses current knowledge of business and technology to recommend system solutions and process improvements 
    • Performs ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports and BI solutions 
    • Support prototyping by creating reports to validate business requirements 
    • Works directly with business customers to understand business process and problems. 
    • Conduct user training. 
    • Analyze source system data and create a profile for inclusion in the data warehouse. 
    • Assist users with the creation of ad hoc reports. 
    • Assist in User Acceptance Testing by defining test cases and data. 
    • Has a solid understanding of overall business and corporate objectives and works under broad project direction with the ability to self-define specific tasks. 
    • Interfaces directly with senior management where required. 
    • Takes a “hands on” approach to project work and is adaptable in terms of style and activities undertaken.


    • Bachelor Degree required 
    • Availability to travel internationally for business purposes. 
    • English as preferred language 
    • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese is desirable 
    • Experience in Automotive Financial sector is desirable
    • Prior Business Intelligence or Decision Management System experience 
    • Experience with Cognos Report Studio, or other end-user reporting tool. 
    • Experience with SQL, WPS or SAS. 
    • Outstanding communication skills in both written and spoken format. 
    • Outstanding customer relationship management skill with senior leadership 
    • Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures 
    • Ability to apply general organizational knowledge of the business and systems processes in problem analysis
