  • Overview

    The Insurance Sr. Analyst is responsible to support the development, implementation and ongoing administration of insurance products and services at the local GMF. Monitor and development sales actions & marketing initiatives between, Insurer, GMF and dealers and elaborate and control the area Business Plan


    • Support the development, implementation and ongoing administration of insurance products and services at the local GMF.
    • Act as primary key point on insurance products and services for GMF departments, insurance partners, brokers, dealers and customers.
    • Analyze, develop and fill reports due insurance products and related services for GM, GMF and dealers.
    • Negotiate, develop & monitor commission income on behalf of GMF. Once in place, administer and resolve issues associated with existing insurance products and programs.
    • Help develop and monitor sales & marketing initiatives between, GMF, insurance companies, GM, dealers and their customers. This includes opportunities such as re-solicitation schemes, cross-selling activities, campaigns and learning initiatives (such as E-Learning).
    • Develop and implement new business processes related to insurance products and monitor and enhance the existing ones in order to improve productivity and efficiency, increasing operating leverage and reducing expenses.
    • Ensure compliance and actively respond to any regulatory or audit requirements.
    • Manage the day to day insurance queries and their resolution, seeking assistance where necessary.
    • Support business plan preparation and monthly financial updates reconciling data with insurance vendors. Assist direct management with issue summarization, presentation and data development.
    • Assist and complete any required Audit or Risk documentation also participate on calls (English and Portuguese) due the same subjects
    • Complete insurance market, products and services competitive analysis, covering topics such as: products offered variations in insurance coverage, dealer commissions, pricing, and loss information.
    • Negotiate and maintain contracts with local insurance partners and brokers. Interact with local legal and insurance authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.




    • College Degree (minimum) in Business Administration / Marketing / Engineering / Economics (desired) and other areas depending on the experience background.
    • Post Graduate Degree (desired)
    • English Intermediated - Advanced (desired)
    • 5 years’ experience developing products and projects (automotive industry experience desired)
    • Insurance knowledge (Auto / Life / Mass products)
    • Experience developing Planning and data analysis
