    The Insurance Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Customer Service Manager with operational, technical, administrative processes as well as projects related mainly to insurance in the Customer Service team and linked areas within this product. The supervisor will have contact with other stakeholder areas such as Customer Experience Operations, Leasing, Sales, Finance and our Servicing Center as well as Insurance companies in order to solve requests for clients, improve their experience with the product and our processes.

     

    The Insurance Operations Supervisor will be responsible for managing the insurance team that manages insurance claims, cancelations, endorsements, indemnities, life insurances, extended warranty, among others. Additionally, from an Operational and Customer Service perspective, supporting the implementation of upcoming insurance products, services and business changes.

    Responsibilities

    • Monthly vendor & insurance operations reporting (both information analysis and data control)
    • Operational product developments and implementations
    • KPIs developments and implementations for insurance
    • Monthly Insurance KPI’s analysis
    • New tracking files/dashboards development for Insurance Operations and related activities
    • Lead indemnity, payments and cancellation processes amongst others
    • Liaison with Commercial areas for Insurance product benchmarking (financial automotive industry)
    • Insurance Companies & Vendor management in both operational and customer oriented negotiations
    • Support other areas with Insurance related issues, administration and FAQ
    • Aid in the development of training material for the Servicing Center, Sales and other areas trainers related to insurance
    • Active participation in special assignments or projects as assigned
    • GMF’s inward policies administration (issuance, payment and endorsements)

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related is required
    • Strong oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English
    • Experience in the Insurance Industry
    • Vendor management and negotiation skills
    • Teamwork and collaborative attitude
    • Commercial and negotiation skills
    • Data Analysis and constant follow-up skills

    Specific Requirements

     

    • At least +3 years of experience in insurance (automotive, credit life or related), preferably with insurance operations
    • Experience in financial companies and/or customer service is a plus
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Access database management is a plus)
    • Project Management experience is a plus
    • English proficiency
