    This role is responsible for the legal counseling and support of the consumer credit and operations areas. As a Corporate Lawyer you will work in the drawing and negotiation of diverse contracts (drafting, correction & release). In addition you will be in charge of the development and, given the case, deployment of special projects of high legal impact. c

    Responsibilities

    • Review, negotiation and establishment of general agreements, including provision of services, revolving and fixed term loans, with and without guarantees, confidentiality agreements, privacy data agreements.
    • Follow up and implementation of the regulation applicable to SOFOM, E.R.
    • Provide legal advice to all areas in the company (Collections, Treasury, Customer Service, Compliance, etc.)
    • Follow up and legal response for requirements issued by Authorities, such as CNBV, CONDUSEF, REPUVE, etc.
    • Review and modify legal documents written in English, and communicate effectively (negotiate) in English.
    • Knowledge about Litigation to provide legal recommendations and monitoring.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in Law (Master’s is a plus)
    • At least +4 years of working experience for a Financial/Banking company or within a Law Firm.
    • Fluent English skills (both verbal & written)
    • Knowledge of the current commerce legislation in force and basic understanding of financial legislation.
    • Addressing legal consultations in scope of the Mexican Law.
    • Basic financial literacy.
    • Experience dealing with ambiguity.
    • Quality decision making.
    • Proficient negotiation skills.
    • Efficiency in tasks and project management.
    • Ability to build new relationships.
