    The IT New Markets and Special Initiatives Program Director leads the IT team’s efforts in entering new markets with core automotive finance products, adding or expanding new lines of business that are complementary to our existing business practices, and partnering with business leadership to explore new business models. The role is ultimately responsible for defining and executing the IT strategies, solutions, and IT delivery methods that would be necessary to support such new initiatives.


    • Define IT strategies for efficiently entering new markets; plans and manages the execution of the IT efforts necessary for new market entry
    • Plan and manage the execution of the IT efforts necessary for start-up of new lines of business
    • Collaborate with business strategy office to investigate new business growth opportunities and provides IT input into business case development
    • Lead delivery, resourcing, and estimating model for new market/product initiatives
    • Influence key stakeholders concerning IT requirements/constraints
    • Synchronize all IT project activities and responses with that of business PMO VP
    • Structure governance and status reporting to ensure decisions/issues/risks are elevated to appropriate level for resolution
    • Develop IT template for new market delivery
    • Act as IT consultant for smaller scope projects
    • Lead matrixed team of direct, dotted-line, and vendors/consultants in delivery



    • Proven experience in multiple IT disciplines.
    • Experience in managing large, high profile projects.
    • Experience in managing diverse, executive stakeholder relationships.
    • Degree level educated (bachelor’s required/ master’s preferred) in IT or relevant equivalent.
    • 5-7 years or more of management experience
    • Available to travel internationally for business purposes.
    • Experience managing third party vendors.


    • Financial services industry experience.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Proven track record of delivering significant IT projects.
    • Ability to manage large and complex IT projects involving multiple vendors and stakeholders in diverse geographical locations.
    • Ability to manage project issues and conflicts and deliver quality projects within budget and scope.
    • Thorough understanding of project financials, budgeting and business value.
    • Proven ability to use different techniques and approaches to manage dynamic vendor situations.
