    The IT Transformation Director will maximize synergies from the integration of technologies, talent, strategy, culture, and work practices to drive change that delivers business value for the GMF global organization. The director will work with leaders to identify the most impactful IT transformation opportunities and develop and lead strategies for implementation.



    • Lead IT Operating Model and benchmarking studies aimed at transforming the IT organization to align with the business’ future direction
    • Guide internal SMEs and external thought-leaders as future opportunities are discovered and evaluated; Facilitate business and IT discussions throughout
    • Create/sell/implement new IT strategies, structures, and processes
    • Lead and/or structure 1:M projects resulting from IT Operating Model studies; Steer scope; Manage schedule/status/issues/risks
    • Institute a Research and Development / Innovation Hub within IT
    • Steer various PoC and IT experiments
    • Interpret and provide context concerning new IT technologies and trends
    • Apply short->long-term perspective and multi-dimensional analysis in decision making about future technology opportunities
    • Create a Balanced Scorecard framework for measuring and communicating IT performance
    • Partner with all IT departments to determine scope/metrics/owners/cadence of the Balance Scorecard reviews
    • Facilitate the reviews of IT performance on behalf of the CIO



    • Proven experience in multiple IT disciplines.
    • Experience in managing large, high profile projects.
    • Experience in managing diverse, executive stakeholder relationships.
    • Degree level educated (bachelor’s required/ master’s preferred) in IT or relevant equivalent.
    • 7 years or more of management experience
    • Available to travel internationally for business purposes.
    • Experience managing third party vendors.


    • Financial services industry experience.
    • Previous experience in innovation and/or strategy development/execution roles.


    Skills and Knowledge:


    • Understands and is able to rationalize perspectives on industry evolution.
    • Ability to translate strategic direction to tactical action plans.
    • Outstanding executive communication skills in both written and spoken form. Capable of communicating ideas in both technical and business language.
    • Skilled in communicating with executive business, partner-level consultants and other key.
