As part of the GMF Legal Staff, the Commercial Credit Legal Analyst in Mexico is responsible for reviewing the Dealers and Fleets customers’ corporate information in order to ensure legal compliance with applicable laws and alignment with corporate guidelines and policies of GMF. Also, the Analyst will be responsible for documenting the relationship with those customers. The Legal Analyst will provide legal advice to GMF Commercial Credit, Commercial Risk and Compliance departments, among others. Additional responsibilities include loading customer information into database and appropriate maintenance.


  •  Review of public deeds (acts of incorporation, powers of attorney, etc).
  • Analyze legal documentation and follow up on legal projects that might impact the Commercial Credit area.
  • Provide legal services to the Commercial Credit area on a day-to-day basis, and in any event where the intervention of the legal area is required.
  • Elaboration and review of contracts including revolving and fixed term loans with and without guarantees, confidentiality agreements, mortgages, promissory notes, etc.
  • Ensure that the legal information and documentation of Dealers/Fleets is updated and correctly registered.
  • Participation in business decisions to identify and mitigate legal risks, regarding legal documentation executed with Dealers/Fleets.
  • Give legal advice to the Compliance department related to personal data regulation.


  • Law degree.
  • 2 years of experience in Financial Entities, Banks, Law Firms, or Public Notaries.
  • Knowledge of Corporate, Commercial, Civil and Banking laws.
  • Legal analysis capability.
  • Knowledge of the Personal data regulation in Mexico (optional).
  • Capable of working in team and with other people.
  • Legal advising to companies to help the business take the proper decision
  • Word / Excel/ PowerPoint.
  • English and Spanish language fluency.
  • Integrity & trust, customer focus, drive for results, interpersonal savvy, peer relationships, decision quality.
  • High organization.
