Overview

The Data Privacy supervisor is responsible to ensure the company compliance with the regulation on Personal Data, as well as giving attention to INAI requirements. Develop matrices that allow maintaining controls for compliance with the company's regulatory obligations; provide support in the administration of the Compliance and Corporate Policies programs.

 

The Compliance department is responsible for assisting the company in the management of compliance risk, collaborate with the different areas to understand and implement the regulatory requirements required by the regulator. Facilitate the detection, management, communication and information of matters related to compliance for senior management; as well as promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organization.VERDE_MTY

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the planning, development, implementation and continuous improvement of the data protection program.
  • Collaborate with the International Operations (IO) team and local functions to continue developing culture on the data protection program seeking to guarantee compliance.
  • Develop and implement training for the Data Protection program.
  • Provide daily advice to all GMF functions related to the data protection program.
  • Execute daily the main processes of data protection, such as:
  • Data privacy impact assessment (DPIA)
  • Third party management (Due diligence of compliance)
  • Management of privacy events
  • Administration of Privacy notices
  • ARCO rights, as well as informal complaints / consultations
  • Administration of the Information Lifecycle Management Program, including the annual corporate cleaning coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Law, administrative fields or related is a must.
  • English Proficiency (Both written & verbal)
  • Knowledge of the Personal data regulation in Mexico.
  • Knowledge of the Personal data regulation in other countries (optional)
  • Experience in the deployment of Compliance program in other organizations.
  • Analytical thinking and ability to solve problems.
  • Management and approach to customer relations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with different areas.
  • Experience in the administration and supervision of personnel.
  • High level of proactivity and initiative.
  • Experience in carrying out research and presenting information on effective way at all levels.
  • Communication skills, with experience working directly with top management.
  • Microsoft Office domain
